In Vitro Steroid sulfatase-IN-2 (compound 1h, 0.001-10 μM, 1 h) inhibits STS in the lysate of JEG-3 cells, with an IC50 value of 109.5 nM[1]. Steroid sulfatase-IN-2 (1-1 μM, 20 h) inhibits STS in a whole-cell assay against JEG-3 cells, with an IC50 value of 13.6 nM[1]. Steroid sulfatase-IN-2 (0.01-100 μM, 5 days) shows dose-dependent antiproliferative activity against T-47D estrogen-dependent breast cancer cells[1].
