In Vitro Dihydropteroate synthase-IN-1 (compound 5g) shows antimicrobial activities with MIC of 24.3, 26.3, 22.8, 20.6, 19.6, 23.2 µg/ml for S. pneumoniae, B. Subtilis, S. epidermidis, E. coli, P. vulgaris, K. pneumonia, respectively[1]. Dihydropteroate synthase-IN-1 shows antifungal activity with MIC of 21.6, 20.3, 20.4 µg/ml for A. fumigates, S. racemosum, G. candidum, respectively[1].
