| In Vitro | (Z)-Hexadec-9-enoic acid is a kind of fatty acid in human milk[1]. Among SHRSP given various fatty acids, a diet containing 1% (Z)-Hexadec-9-enoic acid (palmitoleic acid (POA)) significantly improves the survival rate, with concomitant reduction in the incidence of stroke in spite of their excess NaCl intake through 1% NaCl water for drinking[2]. |
