  • Imidapril (TA-6366 free base) is an orally active angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and MMP-9 inhibitor. Imidapril suppresses the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II and thereby reduces total peripheral resistance and systemic blood pressure.
