In Vitro Trypanothione synthetase-IN-3 (30 min) displays noncompetitive inhibitory behavior against Li TryS with IC50 values of 2 μM -5.6 μM (determined by various substrates)[1]. Trypanothione synthetase-IN-3 (24 h) inhibits proliferation of L. infantum axenic amastigotes with an EC50 value of 43.7 μM[1].
