Abstract

The effect of substitution in the acyclic structure of 1-[(2-hydroxyethoxy) methyl]-6- (phenylthio)-thymine (HEPT) on anti-HIV-1 activity was investigated by synthesizing a series of deoxy analogs and related compounds.
