The palladium-and copper-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions of cyclic silyl ethers with aryl iodides are reported. Silyl ethers 3 were readily prepared by intramolecular silylformylation of homopropargyl silyl ethers 2 under a carbon monoxide atmosphere.
