In Vitro w-Conotoxin SVIB (0.1-1000 nM; 20 min) inhibits twitch response at 0.1 Hz with an IC50 value of 37 nM[2].
In Vivo w-Conotoxin SVIB (20 pmol/g; s.c. once) causes paralysis and death in fish[1]. w-Conotoxin SVIB causes mouse respiratory distress at around 70 pmol/g and it is lethal to mouse at around 300 pmol/g[1].
