| In Vitro | Mesotrione is a potent HPPD enzyme inhibitor, giving an estimated Ki value in the range 6±18pM at 25°C. HPPD is from Arabidopsis thaliana (L)[1]. |
| In Vivo | Mesotrione (oral administration; 1 mg/kg; single dose) is rapidly and extensively absorbed in rats and mice. After a single dose, the urinary excretione is estimated, the urinary excretione estimated absorption values ranged from 62.2% in males and 68.3% in females. The mean peak blood concentration (Cmax) of radioactivity occurred 0.5 hours after dosing in each sex[1]. |

Isolation and characterization of Bradyrhizobium sp. SR1 degrading two β-triketone herbicides.
Environ. Sci. Pollut. Res. Int. 23 , 4138-48, (2016) In this study, a bacterial strain able to use sulcotrione, a β-triketone herbicide, as sole source of carbon and energy was isolated from soil samples previously treated with this herbicide. Phylogene... |
