Biological Activity

[Description]:

2,6-Dithiopurine (2,6-Dimercaptopurine) is a nucleophilic scavenger for electrophilic carcinogens. 2,6-Dithiopurine abolishes both DNA adduct formation and the initiation of carcinogenesis[1].
