Biological Activity

[Description]:

D-Isoleucine ((R)-Isoleucine), an isoleucine stereoisomer, is a selective activator of Asc-1 antiporter, which enhances long-term potentiation at the hippocampal CA1-CA3 via release of endogenous D-serine[1].
