Abstract
Abstract The use of∝,∝-difluorobenzyl (dimethyl) amine (DBDA) and diethyl (trifluoromethyl) amine (DTA) as fluorinating reagents to replace hydroxyl groups in alcohols and carboxylic acids by fluorine atoms has been studied. The results are compared with those reported for other fluoroamine reagents.
