Abstract
The monodentate ligand 1, 3, 5, 7-tetramethyl-2, 4, 8-trioxa-6-phenyl-6-phospha- adamantane (PA-Ph) is shown to be highly effective in palladium-catalyzed carbonylative cross-coupling. Aryl and vinyl halides were efficiently converted to carboxylic acids, amides and to primary, secondary, and tertiary esters, respectively.
