Abstract

The arsines, in spite of their close relationship in constitution to the amines, have been investigated only to a slight extent. The known reactions of the primary arsines are limited to:(1) the ready oxidation by air or inorganic oxidizing agents to arseno compounds, arsine oxides or arsonic acids; s (2) the replacement of hydrogen bound to arsenic by halogens or sulfur by treatment with halogens, sulfur, or compounds which readily give up these ...
