Abstract

The preparation and antituberculous activity of sonie forty homologous alkylenediamines [(C, H2,+ 1NH) 2 (CH~) m] is given along with a discussion of the structural features required for high activity. N, N'-Diisopropylethylenediamine (I) and its secondary (IV) and tertiary (V) butyl analogs displayed in mice about one-half thr antituherculous activity of streptomycin.
