摘要

We first investigated the preparation of symmetric targets (Scheme [1] : Ar 1 = Ar 2 , Table [1] ). In the case of diphenylmethylamine 1, several nucleophiles (Li, Mg, Cu) have been tested. [10] The best combination, involving phenylmagnesium chloride and benzonitrile in THF, afforded the expected compound in 64 to 73% yields.
