Heck reaction in water with amphiphilic resin-supported palladium-phosphine complexes

摘要

We have examined several polymer supports and phosphine units for the Heck reaction of iodobenzene (1a) and acrylic acid (2) (Table [1] ). Reaction of 1a with 2 in water in the presence of a supported palladium catalyst and base at 25 °C for 20 hours gave cinnamic acid (3a), which was extracted with aqueous alkaline during the reaction. The reaction mixture was filtered and the catalyst resin was rinsed with a small portion of saturated sodium bicarbonate. The aqueous filtrate was ...
