摘要

It has been repeatedly observed in this Laboratory that after boiling off from glass ampules liquefied silicon fluoride small amounts of a white residue which volatilize at about room temperature remain, unless the glass ampules are thoroughly dried by flaming while being rinsed many times with dry air.
