The reaction of B-allyl derivatives of 9-borabicyclo [3.3. 1] nonane with representative organic compounds con-taining carbonyl groups occurs cleanly in the common organometallic manner with the allyl undergoing transfer to the carbonyl carhon and the boron moiety to the carbonyl oxygen.
