三氯乙酰氯制备

三氯乙酰氯的合成方法较多,从原料来源、成本、工艺等方面综合考虑,工业上采用在催化剂存在下,由三氯乙酸和氯化亚砜进行酰氯化反应的路线。
在500L搪瓷反应釜中,加入约400kg熔融的三氯乙酸和适量催化剂,在搅拌下升温至80~100℃,慢慢滴加氯化亚砜350kg,生成的HCl和SO2气体,分别用水和碱液吸收。加完后回流4h,将生成的三氯乙酰氯蒸出,收集117~120℃淡黄色馏分,即为三氯乙酰氯产品,含量95%以上。由于三氯乙酰氯化学性质活泼,易发生水解和热分解等副反应,所以反应需在温度≤100℃和无水条件下进行。采用复合催化剂,可显著加快反应速度,提高酰氯化收率。另外,由于副产物氯化氢和二氧化硫会带出一部分氯化亚砜,所以氯化亚砜需适当过量。
从减少环境污染等方面考虑,也可在紫外线催化下,以四氯乙烯为原料,直接氧化合成三氯乙酰氯。CCl2=CCl2[O2, UV]→CCl3COCl
