A novel potent, selective TRPM8 channel antagonist with IC50 of 10 and 21 nM in hTRPM8 HEK293 cells activated by Cooling Agent 10 or cold; exhibits limited activity (IC50 >10 μM) at TRPV1, TRPA1, TRPV4 and at various G protein-coupled receptors; reduces icilin-induced "wet dog-like" shakes, reduces bladder overactivity in awake rats.
