[Description]:

GDP-mannose pyrophosphorylase (GDP-MP) is a cytoplasmic protein that catalyzes the formation of GDP-mannose. GDP-mannose pyrophosphorylase is the precursor for the mannose residues in glycoconjugates, using mannose 1-phosphate and GTP as substrates[1].
