Colistin methanesulfonate sodium salt exhibits MIC values ranged from 4 to 16 mg/liter against susceptible strains (P. aeruginosa)[1].

[In Vitro]

Colistin methanesulfonate is less bactericidal than colistin at the same multiples of the MIC. Colistin and colistin methanesulfonate are both unequal mixtures of the salts of two components, colistins A and B (1), which may well have different in vitro activities[1].
