Ranimustine (MCNU) is a nitrosourea alkylating agent, can be used for research of chronic myelogenous leukemia and polycythemia vera[1][3][4].

[In Vivo]

Ranimustine reduces spermidine and spermine in the corpus striatum, and spermine in the diencephalon, but increases putrescine in the corpus striatum and combined thalamus and hypothalamus[2].
