Biological Activity

[Description]:

TRAF-STOP 6860766 (SMI-6860766, SMI6860766) is a small molecule inhibitor that blocks the interaction between CD40 and TRAF6 (TRAF-STOP), while leaving CD40-TRAF2/3/5 interactions intact, thereby preserving CD40-mediated immunity; prevents the progression of established atherosclerosis in mice, reduces leukocyte recruitment and reduces macrophage activation; reduces the CD40-induced phosphorylation of Tak1 and NF-κB p65 in BMDMs.
