Biological Activity

[Description]:

A novel, potent, brain permeant PKC inhibitor with IC50 of 80 nM, without detectable binding to the estrogen receptor (Ki>10 uM); effectively blocks amphetamine-induced locomotor stimulation, more potently inhibits PKC than tamoxifen and reduces amphetamine-stimulated dopamine efflux.
