Biological Activity

[Description]:

Murrayanol is a natural carbazole alkaloid with a variety of biological activities. Murrayanol shows anti-inflammatory, topoisomerase I and topoisomerase II (Topoisomerase) inhibition activities. Murrayanol also as a mosquitocidal and antimicrobial[1].

[In Vitro]

Murrayanol (Compound 2) 在抗炎试验中对人前列腺素 H 合酶同工酶 1 (hPGHS-1) 的 IC50 为 109 μg/mL，对 hPGHS-2 的 IC50 为 218 μg/mL[1]。 Murrayanol (Compound 2) 在 12.5 µg/mL 浓度下对埃及伊蚊显示 100% 的死亡率[1]。当对酿酒酵母突变菌株进行测试时，Murrayanol (Compound 2) 在 50 µg/mL 浓度下完全抑制拓扑异构酶 I 和 II 活性[1]。 Murrayanol (Compound 2) 对克氏梭菌和大肠杆菌的 MIC1000 为 100 µg/mL，但对金黄色葡萄球菌和化脓性链球菌的 MIC100 为 25 µg/mL[1]。
