Abstract

The reactions of dimethylsulfonium methylide with (E)-aldoxiroes and (E)-ketoximes proceeded smoothly at room temperature and gave moderately good yields of O-methyl (E)- aldoximes and O-methyl (E)-ketoximes, respectively. A possible scheme for the formation of O-methyl (E)-oximes has been discussed.
