Abstract

A facile synthesis of oligodeoxyribonucleotides via the phosphoramidite approach without base protection of the building blocks has been developed; it relies on the use of imidazolium triflate as a promoter for the condensation of a nucleoside phosphoramidite and a nucleoside.
