Phosphine ligands containing mono-and multiply substituted aromatic substituents (1–13, 19a and 19b) are accessible in high yields by palladium-catalyzed P C coupling reactions between primary, secondary or disecondary phosphines and iodo-or bromoaromatic compounds.
