Abstract
Cyclobutylidene, or a related carbenoid, can be generated by reaction of geminal dibromocyclobutane with methyl-lithium at temperatures as low as -78 "C to yield methylenecyclopropane and cyclobutene nearly qua nt itat ivel y. ...
