Absbact: The syntheses of the (Me5Cp) 2M (M= Mg, V, Cr, Co, and Ni) and [(Me5Cp) 2M] PF6 (M= Cr, Co, and Ni) compounds are described. In addition, a preparative route to a novel, dicationic decamethylmetallocene,[(Me5Cp), Ni](PF,),, is reported.
