The new N-chlorodimethylsilylmethyl-N′-trimethylsilyl-N, N′-propylene urea 5 was synthesized by trans-silylation reaction of N, N′-bis (trimethylsilyl)-N, N′-propylene urea 4 with ClCH2SiMe2Cl.
