Abstract

A new bitter trimeric-iridoid diglucoside named pulosarioside (1) was isolated from an Indonesian folk-medicine (Jamu,“pulosari”), the air-dried bark of Alyxia reinwardtii BL.(Apocynaceae), and the absolute configuration of 1 has been determined on the basis of chemicaland physicochemical evidence.
