Abstract

The fungi Helminthosporium species NRRL 4671 and Mortierella isabellina ATCC 42613 have been used for the biotransformation of a series of isothiocyanatoalkyl methyl sulfides and their synthetic precursors, ω-(methylthio) alkylphthalimides.
