Abstract

A series of new aromatic monoesters of α-aminoaralkylphosphonic acids were synthesized by selective hydrolysis of corresponding aromatic diesters of α-aminoaralkylphosphonic acids. New potential inhibitors of aminopeptidase N/CD13, an enzyme important in tumour angiogenesis, were developed.
