Abstract

Thiourea derivatives (46 aroylthioureas) having different substituents close to the sulfur atom were synthesized and their ionophore potential in ion selective electrodes (ISEs) was examined. Structural considerations were taken into account based on the corresponding heavy-metal ISE parameters.
