Abstract

A series of 4-arylcyclohex-3-en-l-ones was prepared in several steps from 4- hydroxycyclohexanone and the appropriate Grignard reagents. The ketones were elaborated to the corresponding f-arylcyclohex-3-en-1-ylamines. These were converted to several derivatives, including piperidines and 4-fluoro-Cbutyrophenones.
