Abstract

The composition and structure of acids III was confirmed by elemental analysis (Table i) and spectral data. The copper complexes were obtained by shaking a mixture of an aqueous solution of copper acetate and a chloroform solution of acid III, and complexes with Fe (3+) were obtained by mixing ferric chloride hexahydrate with acid III in methanol.
