Abstract

The studies described here show that a relatively low molecular weight, narrow polydispersity polyethylene (PE) wax (Polywax) can serve as a nontoxic and nonvolatile alternative to alkane solvents in monophasic catalytic organic reactions where catalysts and products are separated under biphasic conditions.
