Abstract

CO 2 TEA laser-induced photolysis of C 2 H 5 F was studied by using a time-resolved infrared fluorescence technique. Molecular elimination of vibrationally excited hydrogen fluoride (HF*) from C 2 H 5 F* occurs in the process. Rotational temperatures and vibrational level populations of HF* are estimated from observed fluorescence spectra by computational fitting.
