Abstract

The synthesis of reducing agent 3, 1, 4-dihydronicotinamide grafted on a Merrifield resin, is described. The reaction conditions of reagent 3 are optimized, with respect to the solvent and the catalyst amount. The reagent 3 is more sensitive to traces of water than free NADH models such as N-benzyl 1, 4-dihydronicotinamide.
