Abstract

The palladium-catalyzed crosa-coupling reaction of organostannanes with aryltriflates is a versatile, high-yield method for selective carbon-carbon bond formation.'However, the synthesis of aryl triflates from phenols is ccatly, and the products are sometime~ nstable. 2~ To the best of our knowledge, aryl fluorosulfonates are the only reported alternatives' to aryl triflates in palladium-catalyzed coupling using phenols as starting materials.
