Abstract

Abstract Opposite to the SN2 (P) reactions taking place with inversion, which are highly dependent upon the nature of the nucleophile, exocyclic substitutions of five-membered ring chlorophosphates with retention show a marked kinetic levelling effect, emphasing silicon- type argumentations.
