避免强氧化剂

具有刚性人固体,是1-丁烯单体的等规立构高分子均聚物。该材料与其他聚烯烃比较,具有较高的抗张强度、好的耐热性、抗化学腐蚀性、优良的抗蠕变性。在油、洗涤剂和其他溶剂中,不会产生脆化,只有在98%浓硫酸、发烟硝酸、液体溴等强氧化剂的作用下,才会产生应力开裂。具有与超高分子量聚乙烯媲美的非常好的耐磨性,并可容纳大量的填料。

通常在93℃以下,聚1-丁烯可以耐酸、耐碱等各种化学药品,在温度高于60℃时,未加颜料的树脂溶于芳烃和氯代烃溶剂。此外,聚1-丁烯还具有良好的隔湿性,其气体和水蒸气透过率稍低于低密度聚乙烯。聚1-丁烯的电绝缘性能也较好。聚1-丁烯最突出的性能提具有优良的耐蠕变性能,并具有良好的耐环境应力开裂性。在长期的耐环境应力开裂试验中,当其他聚烯烃发生应力开裂时,聚1-丁烯仍不开裂。聚1-丁烯耐热性好,可在-30-100℃范围内长期使用,而聚丙烯在高温度下使用就会变脆。

聚1-丁烯系由高纯度1-丁烯在立体定向齐格勒-纳塔催化剂作用下聚合而成。其制备过程大致为:把经过脱水、脱氧的1-丁烯通入预先装有四氯化钛/三乙基铝[Al/Ti=1:1(摩尔比)]络合催化剂和乙烷溶剂的反应釜中,在室温和常压[或150℃和6.08Mpa(60atm)]的条件下进行聚合反应。在反应过程中不时地加入乙烷以稀释之,至反应终点出料,然后用乙醇使聚合产物中的催化剂失去活性,并洗涤,除净催化剂,即得具有等规结构、高结晶度的聚1-丁烯。目前已知它有5种晶型,从挤出机出来的熔融聚合物结晶时,生成亚稳定的晶型II,在室温和常压下放置5-10天陈化后,晶型II就会不可逆地转变稳定的晶型I。

近年来,芬兰Neste公司开发了一种低能耗的聚1-丁烯生产新工艺。聚合反应采用高活性齐格勒-纳塔配位聚合催化剂,简化了工艺流程,去掉了分离催化剂残渣和无规聚合物等工序。整个工艺流程只包括聚合、干燥和造粒三个步骤。在聚合反应中,可直生成高熔点、结晶形态稳定的晶型I聚合物。
