转窑煅烧法生石膏经粉碎至l～3 mm后加入间接加热的转窑中煅烧15 min，物料最终温度为140～150℃(煅烧医用石膏为115～125℃)。熟料粉碎，经筛选制得半水硫酸钙。

加压法生石膏经粉碎成15～20rnm后加到高压釜内，在加压，温度约120℃条件下蒸煮约7h，然后在120～220℃干燥，再经粉碎、筛分，制得α-半水硫酸钙
