取40%氢氟酸30mL投入铂皿(容积为50mL)中,往其中一点点地加入12g碳酸铊粉末,使其完全溶解。将所制得的溶液在水浴上加热浓缩以后,在电热板上蒸发至干。冷却后,加入40%的氢氟酸10mL,再进行同样的浓缩蒸发至干的操作。在操作过程中,由于氟化氢蒸发出来,所以必须注意排气。再者,氟化铊稍有感光性,有变黄之虞,必须注意。将铂皿置于350℃的电炉中,加热数分钟使干物熔融后,在装有五氧化二磷的褐色干燥器中冷却。粉碎熔融物应在干燥气流中进行。粉末保存在干燥器中。收率在90%以上。
