黑色素有助于真菌在恶劣环境中生存。此外,它在真菌发病机制中起作用。黑色素是一种无定形聚合物,由两种合成途径之一产生。真菌可以通过1,8-二羟基萘(DHN)中间体从内源底物合成黑色素。或者,一些真菌从L-3,4-二羟基苯丙氨酸(左旋多巴)产生黑色素[1]。
