取24g四水乙酸锰(Ⅱ)加至250mL醋酸中，加热回流20min，然后将溶液冷却至微微沸腾状态，慢慢加入4.0g高锰酸钾，加毕再继续回流30min，冷却至室温，加入85mL水，加一点醋酸锰(Ⅲ)作晶种。放置16h后，晶体析出。滤集晶体，用冷醋酸洗涤数次。用90%醋酸重结晶。用碘量法分析其纯度可达98%。
