以S-苄基异硫脲盐酸盐与１０％氢氧化钠溶液投入反应器中，用直火加热回流２ｈ，进行水解。然后冷却，再用稀硫酸酸化，用乙醚萃取，萃取液用无水硫酸钠干燥，然后滤出干燥剂，回收乙醚，剩余物经减压蒸馏，收集９８～１０８℃（２．６６６４ｋＰａ）的馏分，即得成品。
